A new Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) support and marketing hub is now available to help South Australian tourism operators and event organisers promote their businesses, events, deals and offers, create valuable exposure and attract more visitors.
Developed by the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC), the ATDW aims to support the state’s tourism industry to maximise the opportunities presented by the SATC’s marketing campaigns and the state’s key tourism portal, southaustralia.com.
The ATDW is Australia’s national platorm for digital tourism information where businesses can create a listing for their business and/or event which then appears on SA’s key tourism portal, southaustralia.com and other tourism websites such as australia.com.
In 2020–21, a record 12.9 million visits were made to southaustralia.com and over 3.3 million direct leads were generated to South Australian tourism operators and events – more than tripling the previous record set, at 1 million leads in 2019–20.
ATDW is free for South Australian tourism businesses and events.
