South Australian made health-tech is helping out on the frontline of the latest world health challenge, coronavirus.

Local company Micro-X has seen a 300 per cent surge in demand for their innovative mobile x-ray product.

Its lightweight and portable nature makes it ideal for use in quarantine zones.

Micro-X staff are working overtime to fulfill the influx of orders.

They're up for the challenge, with half of the production team made up of former Holden workers familiar with manufacturing at high volume.
