Priority growth sectors

The government is actively engaging with the nine identified growth sectors to understand what they need in order to grow as they develop specific strategies for their respective sectors. Each sector strategy is owned and endorsed by industry.

The development of sector strategies is a comprehensive process designed to identify the issues and roadblocks that are most impacting growth. The government has been working with each sector first to develop a discussion paper with the goal of stimulating conversation about the long-term targets for the industry and where government can best assist in achieving accelerated growth.

Ministers have been consulting industry directly to discuss what reforms would assist them the most in growing their businesses and wider industry sectors.

This deep industry consultation underpins and supports Growth State. Consultation is an ongoing process that ensures what government does is informed by what industry needs.

You can contribute in a variety of ways, discover the Sector Strategies that have been developed so far or learn more about the existing government policies, programs and projects that will assist businesses to invest in, trade with and move to South Australia.
